Nitin Sethi, director of the Weill Cornell Medicine Concussion Clinic, is a renowned expert on sports injuries
Nitin K. Sethi, MD, MBBS, FAAN, , is a board-certified neurologist with interests in Clinical Neurology, Epilepsy and Sleep Medicine. After completing his medical school from Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), University of Delhi, Dr. Sethi did his residency in Internal Medicine (Diplomate of National Board, Internal Medicine) in India. He completed his neurology residency at Saint Vincent’s Medical Center, New York, and a fellowship in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology at Weill Cornell Medical Center, New York. Dr. Sethi is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN), Diplomate of American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology (ABCN) with added competency in Central Clinical Neurophysiology, Epilepsy Monitoring and Intraoperative Monitoring, Diplomate of American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) with added competency in Epilepsy, Diplomate of American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology(ABPN) with added competency in Sleep Medicine and also a Diplomate American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)/Association of Ringside Physicians (ARP) and a Certified Ringside Physician. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology (FAAN) and serves on the board of the Association of Ringside Physicians.Dr. Sethi currently serves as Associate Professor of Neurology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine and Chief Medical Officer of the New York State Athletic Commission. Philip E. Stieg, M.D., Ph.D., Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery, Neurosurgeon-in-Chief of NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, and Director of the Weill Cornell Brain and Spine Center, is an internationally recognized neurosurgeon whose expertise is in cerebrovascular disorders and neurotrauma. Dr. Barry Kosofsky
Barry Kosofsky, M.D., is a board-certified child neurologist with special interest and expertise in pediatric traumatic brain injury. In collaboration with the Brain Trauma Foundation he has been pursuing clinical research funded by the Defense Department and DARPA to utilize advanced MRI-based methods to identify individuals with structural and associated functional brain injury following traumatic brain injury. Dr. Michael O'Dell
Michael O'Dell, M.D., is Chief of Clinical Services in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and Medical Director of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Medicine Center at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Amanda L. Sacks-Zimmerman, Ph.D., ABPP-CN, is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist who specializes in assessing and treating neurological disorders with cognitive remediation as well as researching the cognitive impact of brain injury.
